William August Kinkus Jr., 79, of Dillonvale and Cadiz, Ohio, passed Saturday January 4, 2014 at East Ohio Regional Hospital.
He was born September 8, 1934 in Tiltonsville, Ohio, a son of the late William and Verta Olive Donley Kinkus.
He was a retired employee of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son William A. “Wink” Kinkus III; sisters: Sue Sindeldecker and Betty Miller.
William is survived by his wife Norma Jean Mellinger Kinkus; daughters: Jeanne Anne (Gary) Holyak, Michelle (Rick) Mayle, all of Cadiz; sons: David (Barbara) Kinkus, Phillip (Brenda) Kinkus, all of Rayland; Mark Kinkus (David Shockey) of Martins Ferry, brothers: John (Katherine) Kinkus of Cleveland, and Robert (Glenna) Kinkus of Rush Run, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
