Wayne Rector

Wayne Rector, 85, of Harrisville, Ohio, died Sunday December 13, 2020 at home.

  He was born March 5, 1935, a son of the late Joseph and Eleanora Rogaski Rector.

   In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Regina Evanovich; brothers: Edward, Richard and Raymond Rector.

 He was a lifelong dairy farmer, a US Army Veteran, a member of the Harrisville Ruritan Club and served on the Jefferson Landmark Board of Directors.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 61 years Edith Kolb Rector; sons: Wayne Rector Jr. (Dolores Cost), James (Denise) Rector; daughter Elizabeth (Scott) Kain; six grandchildren: Rachel, Rebecca and Matthew Rector, Robby, Karl and Anna Kain; Brother: Clifford Rector, sister Irene (Tony) Basich.

  In keeping with Wayne’s wishes, there will be no visitation and services will be held at the convenience of the family.
