Robert "Bob" Edwin DeLong Sr.

Robert Edwin DeLong Sr., 89, of Adena, Ohio, passed Monday January 27, 2020 at Trinity West.

  He was born in Neffs, Ohio on October 9, 1930, a son of the late Wilson and Edith Scott Delong.

  Bob was a retired Railroad employee and a member of the Adena United Methodist Church. He enjoyed gardening, Cleveland Indians and Browns.

  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers: Clyde, Howard, William DeLong; sisters: Treva Myers, Naomi Clark and Lucille Howell.

  Bob is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Dorathy (Helms) DeLong, their children: Robert (Rose) DeLong Jr., Cheryl (John) Figurski, Bill (Karla) DeLong, Donna Kniszek, Karen (Scott) Perko, all of Adena; brothers: Kenneth (Charlene) DeLong of Neffs, Francis DeLong of California; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

  Friends will be received Thursday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Borkoski Funeral Home, 60 South Bridge Street, Adena, where services will be held Friday January 31, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Larry Helms officiating.  Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.  Offer online condolences at www.borkoskifuneral.com
