Rebecca Sue (Hawkins) Chancey

Chancey, Rebecca Sue (Hawkins), 47, of Cadiz, Ohio, died Wednesday December 23, 2009 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
  She was born March 4, 1962, a daughter of Catherine Snyder Hawkins-Farnsworth of Dover, Ohio and the late Richard Hawkins.
  Rebecca was a Registered Nurse with The Laurels of Steubenville, an avid supporter of Locks of Love, where she donated several times, and she was a member of the First Church of Christ, Cadiz.   Rebecca’s favorite hobby was cooking for her family and friends.
  In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by a nephew Michael Eickleberry.
  In addition to her mother, Rebecca is survived by her husband, David Chancey; a daughter, Heather Engstrom and her husband Waylon, of Jewett, and a son, Jeffrey Greer Jr. of Cadiz; a stepdaughter Jennifer Wenner and her husband Joseph of Cadiz, a stepson Scott Chancey of Cadiz; four sisters: Cathy Eickleberry (Mike) of Hopedale, Patricia Cline (Ken) of Bloomingdale, Sarah Orr (Larry) of New Philadelphia, Carolyn Johnson (Larry) of New Athens; and four grandchildren.
  Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Borkoski Funeral Home, 555 East Market Street, Cadiz, Ohio, where services will be held Monday December 28, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Paul Giffin, officiating.  Interment will follow at Fairview  Cemetery, Jewett.  Offer online condolences to the family at www.borkoskifuneral.com
