BEDNARSKI
Randy A. Bednarski, 79 of Adena, OH, died Friday, April 28, 2017, at his home with his loving family at his side.
He was born Sept. 25, 1937 in Adena, son of the late Stanley and Sophie Raymer Bednarski.
He was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church in Adena, and was active in the church as a funeral server. He was also a retired employee of I.T.W. Steel Mill in Weirton, a member of the Adena Lions Club for 29 years where he received many honors and served as president. He got the 100% Presidentás Award and was inducted to District 13 Gás Hall of Fame. He enjoyed gardening and Notre Dame football.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 56 years, Shirley Kobus Bednarski. Son, Troy (Doris) Bednarski, of Chandler, Arizona. Daughter, Renee (Rod) Fithen, of Rayland, Ohio. Brother, Dan (Susan) Bednarski, sister, Carol (John) George, all of Adena, and five grandchildren.
Friends will be received to celebrate Randyás life Tuesday 3-8 p.m. at the Borkoski Funeral Home in Adena, with wake services at 7:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Casimirs Catholic Church, Adena, with Monsignor John Kolesar as the celebrant. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Casimirs Catholic Church and to Valley Hospice, Rayland, Ohio.
