Rachael Renee Young

Rachael Renee Young, age 42 of Hopedale, passed away April 27, 2026, at Trinity Medical Center in Steubenville. She was born July 21, 1983, in Gallipolis, Ohio.

Rachael had a loving heart and a gypsy soul. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, fiancée, daughter, sister, and friend. Rachael loved the outdoors, especially when she was kayaking or visiting the beach. She had a wonderful personality that kept her constantly busy. She enjoyed crafting, reading, cooking, baking, listening to music and playing her guitar. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family and loved ones.

Rachael is survived by her fiancée Tim Roux, her children: Cecil, Curtis, Evangeline, Hunter, Natasha, and Kehleigh, her granddaughter Lyra, her father Steve (Gail) Young, her mother Rose (Duane) Jones, her siblings along with many loving extended family, and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister Amanda and her infant son Clayton.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Rachael’s life on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Borkoski Funeral Home, 555 E Market St, Cadiz, OH 43907.
