Patricia Lee Violi

Patricia “Pat” Lee Violi, age 84, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2017 at her home in Adena, Ohio.

Patricia was born on May 28, 1933 in Clarksburg, West Virginia. She was the beloved wife of the late Mario Violi with whom she shared her love of traveling and dancing. Patricia was a loving, caring, and generous person who always put family first. She enjoyed cooking, attending the Skinny Club, and socializing while playing cards with her friends. Patricia was an avid bowler, member of the Adena United Methodist Church, and the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary of Adena, as well.

Many will remember Patricia for her restaurant Mario’s Bar and Grill previously located in Adena. She relocated from Adena to the foothills of the Superstition Mountains in Apache Junction, Arizona in 1983. After she continued to manage successful restaurants out west, she made Adena her home again when she returned in 2005.

In addition to her husband, Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, Mary L. Riley; a sister, Francine Gregory; and a brother, George Riley.

Patricia is survived by her adoring children Lynn (Donald) Hopkins, Henry Dulkowski of Adena, Ohio; Claude (Sandra) Laird of Mesa, Arizona; Reverend William (Robin) Laird of New Kensington, Pennsylvania; Jean Bizic of Adena, Ohio; Mario (Natalie) Violi of Scottsdale, AZ; and Louie (Gayle) DeWalt of Cadiz, Ohio; her two sisters Elsie Sutton and Roxie Nicholson; a brother Steve Thompson; and nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Patricia and celebrate her life on Tuesday, June 20th, from 2-8 at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Adena, OH.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 10 am at the funeral home with Reverend Drew McPeek officiating.

Entombment will be held at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, OH.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Adena United Methodist Church.
