Milan G. (JIDGE) Bizic, 86, died Sunday June 23rd, peacefully at his home of 33 years, while sitting on the porch swing overlooking the farm that he cherished.
Jidge was born Oct. 17,1926 in Powhatan Point, Ohio to his parents the late Helen Bezak Bizic and the late Milan Bizic.
He leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Patricia (Patty) Scovronski Bizic of Cadiz, Son Joseph Bizic and Kimberly Fannin, Daughter Christine and Butch Beihl, Daughter, Tricia and Jason Meddles, Daughter Milinda Bizic and John Woods all of Adena, and Grand daughter Nichole Bizic of Clarksville TN. Grandchildren Jessica Bizic, Joe Bizic, Josey Meddles, Jesse Meddles, Great Grandchildren Nathan, Noah, Natalie and newborn Milan Bizic.
Sister Mildred (Mickey) Jurich of Beaver, PA, Brother Don and Anita Bizic of Wilmington, NC, Stephen Bizic of Wilmington, NC, Chuck and Judy Bizic of Cadiz, OH. In-laws, Susan (Rudolph) Bizic of St. Clairsville OH, Joseph and Nancy Scovronski, Joyce and Jack Peltz, Rich Scovronski all of Adena, Rose and Dan Betts of Columbus, OH. And beloved nieces, nephews and cousins of whom he loved very much.
He was preceded in death by his Sister Helen and Virgil Clark of Tippecanoe, OH, Brother John and Ann Miller of Aliquippa, PA, Brother Rudolph Bizic of St. Clairsville, OH, Brother-in-law Steve (Mildred) Jurich of Beaver, PA and Sister-in-law Vickie (Stephen) Bizic of Wilmington, NC.
Milan was in the Army and the Navy and served on board the USS Runner. He worked as a coalminer for Consolidation Coal Co. and retired at the age of 55 from Peabody Coal. He was the owner operator of the Dew Drop Inn and the Happy-Go-Lucky aka Jidge's Bar in Adena.
Jidge's favorite pastimes were telling jokes and stories creating laughter everywhere he went. He loved fishing, hunting and crossword puzzles.
Most of all Jidge was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed by his family and cherished friends.
Jidge donated his body to Ohio State University, and there will be no services, those were his wishes that the family will abide by.
A celebration of his life will be scheduled in the near future.
