MORRIS, Mike, 84 of East Market Street, Cadiz, Ohio, died Saturday October 15, 2011 at Harrison Community Hospital.
He was born in Nemacolin, Pa., on February 19, 1927, a son of the late Elmer and Anna Tupak Morris.
Mike was a retired employee of Alpha Energy; a former member of the Cadiz Lions Club; General Custer Association, Community Grange, and a member of Scott United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: Paul, John, Joe, George, Harry and Charlie Morris.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Betty Miller Morris; a son Mike Morris and his wife Glenna of Spartansburg, SC., two daughters: Michelle Brown and her husband James of Cadiz, Donna Barnhart and her husband Mike of Carmichaels, Pa., two brothers: Vincent (Betty) Morris of Twinsburg, Ohio, Steve Morris of Greenboro, Pa., three grandchildren: Janell Duranko, Kevin and Casey Morris; four great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at Borkoski Funeral Home, 555 East Market Street, Cadiz, Ohio, where services will be held Wednesday October 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
