Lois Jean (Raymer) Konkoleski

Lois died on March 19, 2025. She was born on March 25, 1937 in a house on Miric’s Ridge Road in Adena, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray “Ert” Konkoleski, her brother Gerald Raymer, and her parents, Albina (Bonk) and Louis Raymer.  She is survived by her son R.J., his wife, Laura (Glenn), and her two grandchildren, Catherine and Ray, whom she adored.  

Lois was a 1954 graduate of Adena High School. She worked at the Bellaire Clinic, the Harrisville Clinic, the St. Clairsville Clinic, and retired from the Wheeling Jesuit University Office of Admissions. 

She served as President of the Adena Volunteer Fire Co. where she was a life member. She was a longtime officer of the Adena High School Alumni Association.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation. A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 10 a.m. at St. Casimir’s Catholic Church, 221 Hanna Ave. in Adena.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Adena Historical Society, P.O. Box 18, Adena, OH 43901.   Arrangements have been entrusted to Borkoski Funeral Home in Adena.
