SOBOLEWSKI, Linda Louann Worner, 70, of Oak Park, Cadiz, Ohio, passed away Tuesday April 13, 2010 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz.
She was born in Wheeling, W.Va., on October 29, 1939, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Inez Gillespie Worner. In the 1970’s, Linda was the owner/operator of the Bo-Kay Flower Shoppe; in the 80’s, until her retirement, she was the Director of Food Services for Harrison Hills School District. She was an avid gardener and loved to travel.
Linda is survived by her beloved husband of 29 years, Edward; daughters: Kristen (Joel) Davia of Bethesda, Ohio and Sonya (Roger) Yanssens of New Alexandria, Ohio; sons: Mark Reppart of Johnson City, Tennessee; Edward (Susan) Sobolewski of Smithfield, Ohio, and Trent (Sue) Sobolewski of Huntington, Texas; Grandchildren: Jonathan Davia of Dublin, Ohio, Koel Davia of Barnesville, Ohio, Austin, Dillon and Graycie Reppart of Johnson City, Tennessee, Andrea Sobolewski of Smithfield, Ohio, Allison, Abigail and Adrienne Yanssens of New Alexandria, Ohio, and Macey and Kylee Sobolewski of Huntington, Texas.
Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p. m. at the Borkoski Funeral Home, 555 East Market Street, Cadiz, Ohio and then on Saturday April 17, 2010 from 10:00 until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. at Scott United Methodist Church, Cadiz, with the Reverend Richard Hasley, officiating.
