Leo Liszeski

Liszeski, Leo, 89, of Cadiz, Ohio, passed Monday April 16, 2012 at Sunnyslope Nursing Home, Bowerston, Ohio.
  He was born in Cadiz on February 22, 1923, a son of the late Walter and Antonia Ziellinski Liszeski.
  Leo was a retired employee of Consolidated Coal Company; a member of the Cadiz Fraternal Order of Eagles; a member of the Cadiz American Legion Post #34; a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, and a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII.
  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Bernice Patterson Liszeski; a son Leo J. Liszeski; a grandson Leo Randy Liszeski; a daughter Betty Melville; sisters: Laura Gorecki, Jenny Wicki, Stella Kensicki, Lucy Gorecki, Julia Kensicki brothers: Stanley, Walter, Joe, and John Liszeski.
  Leo is survived by his wife Edna Pearl Fulton Liszeski, a daughter Bernice Jane Wright and her husband Ronny of Scio, a son Danny Hyre, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Scio Fire Department.
  Friends will be received Wednesday 4-8 p.m. at Borkoski Funeral Home, 555 East Market Street, Cadiz, Ohio, where services will be held Thursday April 19, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Tim McGuire, officiating.  Military Honors will be provided at the cemetery by the Cadiz American Legion Post #34.
