Julia Metro, 94, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died Monday August 11, 2008 at the home of her daughter in Hilliard, Ohio.
She was born in Maynard, Ohio on October 4, 1913, a daughter of the late John and Marie Havice Pothorski.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Metro whom she married June 19, 1937, and nine brothers and sisters.
Julia was a retired dairy farmer and lived on her farm from 1941.
She is survived by her daughter Shirley Metro of Hilliard, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Borkoski Funeral Home, 555 East Market Street, Cadiz, Ohio, where services will be held Friday August 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Theresa Bobot officiating. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
