Joyce Lee (Holyak) Anderson

Joyce Lee Anderson passed away at the age of 78 surrounded by her family, in the comfort of her home on November 15, 2024, after a long battle with her health. She was the daughter of Helen & George Holyak born on June 30, 1946. Joyce was born into a large family with eleven siblings and many cousins.  She resided in Adena, Ohio for her entire life. Joyce was married to her husband, Mark Anderson for 32 years. Together they have 6 children, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Joyce’s self profound purpose was to make people happy. She would spend hours a day writing well wishes to people. She always said “If it makes one person's day, it was worth it”. Joyce had a love for the Lord, her dog “Mylie”, Dwight Yocum, small trinkets, but most of all her family. She loved her family more than anything in this world. If you spoke to her just one time, it was a guarantee that you would hear a story about daughters her loved ones. 
Joyce is preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, brother Jerry, brother George, sister Sandra, sister Carol. She is survived by her husband Mark - Children;  Jamie (Rodney) Shields, Michelle (Tracy) Sikon, David (Lisa) Brown, Mandi Anderson, Clayton Anderson, Mark Anderson Jr. -  Granddaughters; Lexie, Jessica (Russ), Lynde, Samantha, Madison, Mayteah, Makayla, Allana - Grandsons; Cody (Krystina), Dalton (Miranda), Dustin (Shana), Cory, DevRon - eleven great-grandchildren and many other family members.
