BARKER, Jimmie Donald, 74, of Cadiz, Ohio, formerly of Scio, Ohio, died Friday June 18, 2010 at Harrison Community Hospital.
He was born in Smithfield, W.Va., on January 22, 1936, a son of the late Elmer and Harriet Swiger Barker. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters; Thelma Garnett and Kathleen Ice and Mary Ash; and also three brothers, Albert, Norman and Bernard Barker.
Jimmie is survived by his wife, Janet Anderegg Barker; a daughter, Wanda Barker of Canton, Ohio; two sisters: Evelyn Quinn of East Liverpool, Ohio, Juanita Barker of Parkersburg, WV., three brothers: Ralph Barker of Canton, Tom Barker of Barnesville, Ohio, and Robert Barker of Clarksburg, WV.
In keeping with Jimmie’s wishes, there will be no visitation and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family
