RECTOR, Edward Dean, 89, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, formerly of Harrisville, Ohio, died Thursday July 30, 2009, in Park Health Center, St. Clairsville.
Edward was born in Adena, Ohio on December 22, 1919, a son of the late Joseph and Eleanor Rogaski Rector.
He was retired from Consolidated Coal Company; a member of the Harrisville United Methodist Church; and a U.S. Army Veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Regina Evanovich and two brothers, Richard and Raymond Rector.
Edward is survived by his loving wife, Ann H. Micker Rector; two sons, George Rector and his wife, Cathy of Colerain and Gail Dean Rector and his wife, Cheryl of Flushing; two daughters, Kathryn Rector and her husband, Bruce Schramm of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Marcella Rector Burks of Calif.; a sister, Irene Basich and her husband, Tony of Adena; two brothers, Clifford Rector of Fla. and Wayne Rector and his wife, Edi of Adena; eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Borkoski Funeral Home, 555 East Market Street, Cadiz, OH, where services will be held Saturday August 1, 2009 at 11 a.m.
Entombment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove. Memorial contributions may be made to Belmont Senior Services, 45240 National Road West, St. Clairsville, OH 43950
