Donna Jean (Morris) Barnhart

Donna Jean Barnhart, age 75 of Cadiz and Carmichaels, Pennsylvania, passed away February 21, 2026, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia.

She was born June 10, 1950, in New Eagle, Pennsylvania, to parents Mike and Betty (Miller) Morris. Donna graduated from Kent State University and worked for many years as the Clerk for the Village of Cadiz. She later retired as a 911 dispatcher in Waynesburg.

Donna was Catholic in faith and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Masontown. While Donna was a private person, she did enjoy needlepoint and crocheting. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan, but above all, cherished her grandchildren.

Donna is survived by her husband Michael Barnhart, who she married on September 16, 1971. She is also survived by her daughter Janell Duranko, her grandchildren: Stephen, Brenden, and Jace, as well as her brother Michael (Glenna) Morris, and her sister Michelle Brown.
