Debra Jean (Ostojich) Holyak

Debra Jean (Ostojich) Holyak, age 67 of Adena, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2025, at her home.

She was born March 23, 1958, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, to parents George and Agnes Ann (Rustile) Ostojich, and was affectionately known as Debbie to her family and friends. Debbie graduated from Buckeye West High School in 1976.

She married her beloved husband Kevin Holyak on December 24, 1984. Debbie was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, tending to her flower gardens, and making yard decorations. 

She will be dearly missed by her family, including: her husband Kevin Holyak, her daughter Sierra Holyak, her son Joseph (Kylee) Holyak, and her grandson Jackson. She also leaves behind her sister Sandy (Mike) Profancik and her sister-in-law Sandra Sue Holyak.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents and her brother George S. Ostojich.

Friends and family will be received Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 12:00 – 2:00 PM with funeral services officiated by Pastor Maggie Hoder at 2:00 PM at the Borkoski Funeral Home in Adena. Interment will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery in Harrisville.
