David Richard Saksa

David Richard Saksa, 70, of Harrisville, Ohio, passed Monday December 29, 2014 at Wheeling Hospital.
  He was born June 15, 1944, a son of the late Steve Saksa Sr. and Inez Stillwagon Saksa.
  Dave was a former employee of Allison Coal Company, Y&O Coal, a retired employee of Red Hill Distribution, Cadiz, a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church, Adena; a loving family man and avid Steeler fan.
  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son-in-law David Sambuco.
  Dave is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Carolyn Rose Slaga Saksa; daughters: Tracy L. Sambuco and fiancé Eric A. Haught of Harrisville,  Lori A. (Paul) Oakes of Akron, Ohio; a brother Steve J. (Margaret) Saksa of Colerain; sisters-in-law: MaryAnn Shaffer, Sophia M. (Steve) Goodwin; brother-in-law Andrew J. Slaga; grandchildren: Megan Michelle Vermillion and Austin David Sambuco.
  Friends will be received Thursday January 1, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Borkoski Funeral Home, 555 East Market Street, Cadiz, Ohio, where vigil services will be held at 7:30.
  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday January 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Casimir Catholic Church, Adena.  Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
