David Emory ("Hank") Householder

David E. “Hank” Householder, 92, of Harrisville, Ohio, passed Thursday November 1, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center, Canton, Ohio.

  He was born in Harrisville on October 19, 1926, a son of the late Ellis and Naomi Eastom Householder.  He was a lifelong resident of Harrisville and spent the last 3 years at the Carroll Golden Age Retreat in Carrolton.

  Hank was a retired employee of Consol after 42 years of service, former member of the St. Clairsville VFW and a U.S. WWII Navy veteran.

  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Wills Householder, a brother Robert Householder and a sister Patricia Morrison.

  Hank is survived by his children: Cathy (Ken) Stromski of Carrollton, OH, sons: Mick (Sara) Householder of Morgantown, WV, David (Jamie) of Rayland, OH, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

  Friends will be received Saturday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Borkoski Funeral Home, 555 East Market Street, Cadiz, Ohio where services will be held Sunday November 4, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Dwight Miller, pastor of Grace Christian Fellowship of Lisbon, Ohio.  Interment will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery, Harrisville.  Graveside military honors provided by Belmont County Veterans Association.
