Daniel Lewis Tonkovich

Daniel L. Tonkovich 92, of Blairmont Rd. Adena passed away September 15th, 2024, peacefully in the care of Valley Hospice.  He was born March 31st, 1932, to Frank and Katie Tonkovich. He was an Army Veteran and a member of Adena American Legion Post #525 and a member of Pine Valley Sportsman Club for almost 70 years.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life Janet (Modolo) Tonkovich in 1972. Also, his wife Faye (Keller) Tonkovich in 2015; brothers Frank and John (Dobuts) Tonkovich. Surviving are his daughters Danielle (Jim) Sobleski, Doreen Tonkovich and his step-daughter Rhonda Myers who, he helped Raise. His grandchildren Tracy (Josh) Zido and Melanie Sobleski. Great grandchildren Evan, Max and Alexa Zido. Also his care giver Eileen Wilson who lovingly took care of him for the last few years. 

According to his wishes there will be no services. Internment by Borkoski Funeral Home Adena. Donations may be made to Valley Hospice Trinity Medical Center West 400 Johnson Rd. Steubenville OH 43952.
