Daniel Lee "Tucker" Thompson

Daniel Lee  "Tucker" Thompson, 59, of Bridgeport, Ohio, formerly of New Athens, Ohio, passed Monday January 19, 2015, surrounded by his loving family at Heartland Lansing.
  He was born in Wheeling, W.Va., on December 13, 1955, a son of the late Jesse Luther and Virginia Mary Johnson Thompson.
  He was a former employee of Consolidated Coal District 31 and a member of Local Union #1638; a member of His Word Ministries and Mount Moriah Church.
  Daniel is survived by his loving wife  Gwendolyn A. (Mitchell) Thompson; son: Anthony D. Diehl of Cadiz, stepson Robert Conaway of Bridgeport; stepdaughter Kristina Conaway of Adena; a brother David (Joyce) Thompson of Smithfield; sisters: Linda (Gerald) Dombroski of Harrisville, Sue (Richard) Bramen of Kansas City, MO., Joyce Wierzbicki of St. Clairsville; grandchildren: Zackery, Briana, Skyelar, Haylee and several nieces and nephews.
  Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Borkoski Funeral Home, 555 East Market Street, Cadiz, Ohio, where services will be held Friday January 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gerald Dombroski Jr. officiating.  Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.  Offer online condolences at www.borkoskifuneral.com
