Clara (Thompson) Howes

Clara (Thompson) Howes, 92, of Harrisville, Ohio, passed Monday, May 2, 2016 at East Ohio Regional Hospital.
She was born in Adena, OH, on May 16, 1923, a daughter of the late Clarence âButchã and Velma Waldren Thompson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; a son, Thomas; and brothers, Harvey, Osburn, Pete, Leonard and Carl Thompson.
She was a member of the Harrisville United Methodist Church and the Flushing Eastern Star.
Clara is survived by son, James âJimã (Bonnie) Howes of Martins Ferry; a sister, Dorothy Dowdell of Jewett; grandchildren, Thomas, Toni, Tara, Jimmy and Thomas Jr.; great-grandchildren, Courtney, Taylore and Reed; and great-great grandchild Skylar.
Friends will be received Wednesday 4 to 8 p.m. at Borkoski Funeral Home, 555 East Market St., Cadiz, OH, where services will be held Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Chuck Mehl and Rev.
