Christine Ann (Zornes) Carder

Christine Ann (Zornes) Carder, age 55 of Cadiz, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026. She was born June 16, 1970, in Barberton, Ohio.

Christine graduated from Springfield High School in 1988. She was a nurse with several long-term care facilities in the area. Christine was currently working as the Wellness Director at Senior Suites at St. Clair Commons in St. Clairsville.

Christine moved to the Adena area April 2020, before marrying her beloved husband Don Carder on August 31, 2024. She embraced the country living and looked forward to yardwork and gardening. Christine was very creative. She enjoyed crafting and decorating, making everything from jewelry to bath bombs.

Christine was preceded in death by her mother Ellen (Probst) Shubert and her brother Robert Zornes Jr. She is survived by her husband Don Carder, her son Garrick Zornes, her granddaughter Kylee Zornes, her father Robert Zornes Sr., her siblings: Scott (Gina) Erwin, Raquel Zornes, and Missy Zornes, as well as her stepdaughter Brittani Carder and her son Jaxon Carder. Aunt Chrissy’s memory will also be cherished by generations of loving nieces and nephews.

Her wishes for cremation are being honored. A Celebration of Life will be announced later. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to help with her final expenses at Go Fund Me.
