Charlotte (Betty) Elizabeth (Anthony) Borkoski

BORKOSKI, Charlotte E. “Betty”,   83, of Adena, Ohio, died Saturday November 7, 2009 at home.
  She was born in Maynard, Ohio on January 30, 1926, a daughter of the late Nelson and Charlotte Cullen Anthony.
  Betty was the former co-owner of the Adena Electric Co., Inc. and a member of the Harrisville United Methodist Church.
  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, George Shields; her husband, Eugene “Gink” Borkoski; a brother, Harry Anthony; a sister, Georgiann Nalley; a step-sister, Adda Mae Starkey and three step-brothers: Bill, Ike and Charles L. Shields.
  Betty is survived by two daughters: Becky Wilhelm and her husband Rick of St. Clairsville, Amy Sebring and her husband John; a son, Randy Borkoski and his wife Mary, all of Adena; two sisters: Janet Knight of Harrisville and Gertrude Patton and her husband Jim of Cadiz; a brother: Thomas C. Shields and his wife Jeanie of Harrisville; seven grandchildren: Jaime (Nurul) Choudhury, Aaron (Shawna) Borkoski, Derek (Mandy Sims) Wilhelm, Amanda and Adam Borkoski, Trevor and Audrey Sebring; and a great-grandson, Deen Choudhury; and numerous nieces and nephews.            
  Friends will be received Tuesday 2-8 p.m. at the Borkoski Funeral Home, 555 East Market Street, Cadiz, Ohio and also on Wednesday 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the Harrisville United Methodist Church, with the Reverend Chuck Mehl, officiating.  Interment will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery, Harrisville.  Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.borkoskifuneral.com
