Betty Zinaich

Zinaich, Betty, 97, formerly of Adena, OH, died, Friday, May 5, 2017, at Island Lake Center, in Longwood, FL.

Betty was born on November 17, 1919 in Morgantown, WV, to the late Marion and Elizabeth Zuccari.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Pete Zinaich and two brothers, Joseph M. and Memmo J. Zuccari.

Betty was a loving mother and was a staple of the Adena community in her early years as a member of numerous community organizations. She served as a librarian for the Buckeye Local School District, in addition to select retail positions. She was a longtime member of the St Frances Cabrini Catholic Church Senior Center and a member of St. Casimir’s Catholic Church. Betty moved to Florida in 2011 to be with her two sons.

She is survived by two sons, Peter “PJ” (Emily) Zinaich and Martin (Melody Daly) Zinaich and a grandson, Peter David Zinaich.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Betty and celebrate her life in Tuesday, May 16th from 11am until the time of service of 1pm at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Adena, OH, with Monsignor John Kolesar officiating.

Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church Senior Center.
