Betty Jean (Herron) Oszust

Betty Jean Oszust, age 94 of Harrisville, passed away December 31, 2025, at her home. She was born December 9, 1931, in Duncanwood, Ohio, to parents Charles and Alice (Sabor) Herron.

Family always came first in Betty’s life. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Betty is survived by her children: Charles (Debbie) Oszust, Tammy (Rick) DuJardin, and Jason (fiancé Diane) Oszust, her daughter-in-law Pamela Oszust, her grandchildren: Robin (Brian) Amicon, Cory (Elisha) Oszust, David (Erin) Rinkes, Brandon Rinkes, Angie (Clarence) Fox, Seth Oszust, Lauren (George) Oszust, Mike (Jen) Kovalski; her great-grandchildren: Adrienne Oszust, Scarlett Amicon, Brady (Hailey) Fox, Gracie (Devon) Jones, Mason Fox, Jacob Rinkes, Mary Bella Rinkes, Beaux Rinkes, Dominic Kempton, Jordan Kovalski, Nicholas Kovalski, Layla Kovalski, Harper Oszust, London Oszust, and Sully Oszust, as well as her great-great-grandchildren Adilynn Jones and Hayden Jones. She is also survived by her sisters: Judy Madzia and Nancy Herron.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Oszust Sr., her son Robert Oszust Jr., and her sisters Wilma Schuct and Murriel Hopkins.

Friends and family will be received Monday, January 5, 2026, from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM at the Borkoski Funeral Home, 555 E Market St, Cadiz, where funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Ken Staley at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery.
