MYERS, Aletha Frances Cook, 86, of Cadiz, Ohio, died Saturday November 8, 2008 at Harrison Community Hospital.
She was born in Yorkville, Ohio on November 18, 1921, a daughter of the late Van Cook and Mary Jane French Cook.
Aletha was a member of the Harrisville Covenant Presbyterian Church; the All Faith Choir of Harrison County and a former member of the Adena Women’s Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Myers; a sister Twila Fiscus and a daughter Donna Diane (DeeDee) Barry.
Aletha is survived by three sons: Garry Myers and his wife Jill; Bruce Myers and his wife JoDee, all of Cadiz; and Scott Myers and his wife Janet of South Vienna, Ohio; a daughter, Carol Walker and her husband Rex of Cadiz; a brother Donnald Cook and his wife Maxine of Essex, MD.; grandchildren: Theresa Demelli, Edward Corban, Charles Sellevaag, Steve Barry, Jaime Manley, Bob Myers, Jaramie Myers, Megan Myers, Buck Myers, Munch Myers, Heather Myers, Dustin Myers; nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Borkoski Funeral Home, 555 East Market Street, Cadiz, Ohio, where services will be held Wednesday November 12, 2008 at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Barry Hall, officiating.
