Ruth (Hamlin) Lewis' Obituary
Ruth Lewis, 96, of Adena, Ohio, passed away Wednesday December 14, 2022, at Harrison County Home.
She was born November 23, 1926, a daughter of the late Willard and Edna Tank Hamlin.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Bobbie Lewis, son in law Jerry Hopkins and brother W.O. Hamlin.
Ruth was the retired Harrisville Postmaster of 22 years, and lifetime member of Covenant Presbyterian Church of Harrisville. Ruth truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Ruth is survived by her children: Jill Hopkins, Dick (Leslie) Lewis; grandchildren: Jennifer, Colt (Tara), Jeremy (Jackie), Ruger (Joyce), Hawken (Charese); great-grandchildren: Ava, Remington, Quinlyn, Brayden, Citori, Lindslie, Caliber, Hammerli.
Friends will be received Tuesday 4 to 8 p.m. at Borkoski Funeral Home, 555 East Market Street, Cadiz, Ohio. Visitation also on Wednesday December 21, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Harrisville, Ohio with Rev. Barry Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery.
