Robert Vance Bates, 57, of Cadiz, Ohio, passed Monday November 25, 2019 at home.

He was born May 17, 1962 a son of John and the late Mary Ellen Tuchek.

In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his sister Tracy Richards.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Laurie Duvall Bates, daughters: Jessica Bates, Ashley (Jeremy) Vermillion, April Bates; grandchildren: David Jones, Henry Vermillion, Rose Vermillion; siblings: Tammy (Brad) Gotschall, Terry (Terry) Worrell, Christine Bates.

Private services were held by Borkoski Funeral Home, 555 East Market Street, Cadiz, Ohio.
