Mary Ellen Sowers Tuchek, 69, of Cadiz, Ohio, passed Tuesday December 25, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Dillonvale, Ohio on January 6, 1943, a daughter of the late Charles and Ina Beal Sowers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Tracy Bates Richards; brothers: David, Don and Charles "Sonny" Sowers; sisters: Betty Barnhart, Sylvia Worwa, Evelyn Milliken, and Kathryn Faye Sowers; and a grandson Robert Gotchall Jr. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 36 years John Tuchek; a son Bob (Laurie) Bates of Cadiz;  daughters: Tammy Gotschale (Brad)  Taylor of Mentor, Ohio; Terry (Terry) Worrell of Mt. Pleasant, Christine Bates of Scio, Ohio; sisters: Grace Creamer Mills of Flushing, Ohio, and Ruth Toto of Adena, Ohio; brothers: Raymond, Gary, and Don Sowers; a son-in-law Mike Richards of Cadiz; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
