Mary Angelina Carlier, 91, of Adena, Ohio, passed Saturday February 13, 2021 at home surrounded by her family.

Mary was born April 20, 1929, a daughter of the late Carmelo Monteleone and Ermina Orsine Monteleone.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband John R. Carlier; brothers: Frank and Anthony Monteleone, sisters: Ann Monteleone, Elizabeth "Betty" Marx, daughter in law Karen Flowers Carlier and a grandson Christopher Carlier.

Mary is survived by her children: John C. Carlier of Colerain; MaryBeth (Greg) Kilpatrick of Mt. Pleasant, Ohio, Tim Carlier of Adena, a brother, Carmelo Monteleone of Hopedale, a sister Cathy Zingo of Martins Ferry, seven grandchildren,   seven great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to caregivers Brandy Bezak and Sharon White.

Mary was a member of St. Casimir's Catholic Church and a member of the CWC and Rosary Society.

Friends will be received Friday February 19, 2021 at St. Casimir's Catholic Church, Hanna Avenue, Adena from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. (Masks Required) with Monsignor John Kolesar as celebrant.  Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
