Mark Edward Bates, 61, of Freeport, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday October 26, 2021 at Harrison Community Hospital WVU.

He was born July 15, 1960, a son of Maxine DeWalt and the late Milton Bates.

Mark is survived by his girlfriend Laura A. Case, children: Heidi (Tim) Davis, Lucas Bates, Dustin Bates, Lee Thomas (Kourtney) Dombroski, brothers: John (Toni) Bates, Matthew (Stacie) Bates; grandchildren: Emily Davis, Landon Davis, Savanah Bates, Dakota Price, Baylee Kinkus, Lee (Bubby) Dombroski; numerous nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Mark's wishes, there will be no visitation and services will be private.
