Lydia Mae Durbin, 87, of Adena, passed away Thursday February 22, 2024. She was born February 17, 1937, a daughter of the late Charles and Helen Porter. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Chester, Lester, Floyd, Lawrence, and Joe; sister Elizabeth and her nieces Lisa, Karen and Amy. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Cecil and her sister Mary Ann Brown of New York; her children: Larry (Sandy) Durbin, Sharon Durbin Adams, Richard (Dana) Durbin and Scott (Trenda) Durbin; grandchildren; Bryan (Becky) Durbin, Melissa Durbin, Rachel (Steven) Fyffe, Nicole (Scott) Scharlach, Kaci Adams and fiancé Joshua Grubbs, Ricky (Loren) Durbin, Ryan (Megan) Durbin, Chad (Kayla) Durbin and Courtney (Travis) Pinkston; great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Cecilia, Durbin, Daniel (Morgan) Duill, Sophie, Stella Scharlach, Elden, Logan, Eden and Linken Fyffe, Zayne Keiser, Zoey Kimble, Ian and Liliana Durbin, Maverick and Hudson Durbin; great-great grandchild Lucy Duill. She found great joy in all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren in watching them grow up, teaching and playing dice and cards with them. She loved playing her games also with all her nieces and nephews too. Special thanks to her niece Dee Ruckman for coming every day to visit with her.
