Linda Lee Veres Kafana, 78, Crescent Road, St. Clairsville, Ohio, earned her Angel Wings at her home of 57 years, surrounded in love by her family, on Saturday November 27, 2021.

She was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on April 16, 1943, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Vargo Veres and was a big sister of John (Nancy) Veres.

She married her husband of 58 years Jacob "Jack" "Jake" Kafana Jr. on July 11, 1963 and started what she says was her greatest accomplishment, her family. Mom to 4 children: Jacquie (Greg), Scott (Diane), Tami (Jim), Jay (Kimberlee), and sugar plum grandma to 11 grandchildren: Tyler (Alisha), Christian (Taylor), TJ (Alexis), Haley, Morgan, Gracyn, Collin, (Meggan), Angel (Eli), Jimmy, Jena (Sarah), J'lyse (Josh) and great-grandchildren: Jarron, Delaney, Colton, Riley, Henry, Julianna, Aiden.

In keeping with Linda's wishes, there will be no visitation and services will be private.

Borkoski Funeral Home, 555 East Market Street, Cadiz, Ohio is assisting the family.
