Linda Sue Kalonick, 80, of Adena, Ohio passed away at home on Wednesday, May 8th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 8, 1943, in Adena to the late Robert (Bud) and Anna Mae Sickle. Linda graduated in 1961 from Adena High School. She attended school at Ohio State, lived briefly in Minneapolis, and returned home to marry Paul on April 10, 1965. Linda enjoyed spending time on her parents' farm, her flowers, and her hummingbirds. She never missed the sporting events of her grandchildren and was an active member of the Adena American Legion Post 525 Ladies Auxiliary. Linda worked in the banking industry for over 30 years and retired in 2005. Linda was always fashionable and had a wonderful sense of style. She was a strong woman. She was deeply loved, and her loss will be felt by her family forever. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Patty Adams. She is survived by her dedicated husband of 59 years, Paul; daughters Lisa (Kowalski) and Amy (Clelland); her sister Robalee (Marshall-Podlich); grandchildren Austin (Kowalski), Madison, Andrew, and Lizzy (Clelland); nephew Rick (Marshall); and niece Robalee (Jenkins). In-laws: Jim and sister in law Jane Kalonick Sister Carole and brother in law Tom Mervar Sister Chris and brother in law Larry Barbarossa. Friends and family will be received at Borkoski Funeral Home, 60 Bridge St., Adena, Ohio on Sunday, May 12, 2024, from 5-8, with a Vigil service beginning at 5:30. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Casimir's Catholic Church, 221 Hanna Avenue, Adena, Ohio on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 11am with Fr. William D. Cross as celebrant.
