Karen E. Carlier, 64, of Colerain, Ohio, passed away on May 31, 2020 at Cleveland Clinic.

She was born May 10, 1956, a daughter of the late William "Posy" and Dorothy Beuth Flowers.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Christopher Carlier and brother in law William Applegarth.

Karen is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, John Carlier; her children: Emily (Aaron) Petersen, Angelina (Dustin) Lipperman, Jonathan (Tyler) Carlier, granddaughter: Audrey Lipperman; sisters Charlene (David) Miller, Cheryl (Gary) Ludwig, Lori Applegarth, numerous nieces and nephews, and  lifelong adopted family members Anna "Nanny" and Wilford "Willie" Simeral.

Karen taught school at Harrison Hills School District for many years and recently was employed by the Diocese of Steubenville where she was the office assistant at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.

Friends will be received Thursday June 4, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 72581 Colerain Road, Colerain, Ohio 43916 where Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday June 5, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Timothy McGuire as celebrant assisted by Rev. Wilford Simeral.  Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens.
