John Howard Peltz

October 18, 1936 – February 27, 2019

John H. (Jack) Peltz, 82, of Adena, OH died on February 27, 2019 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was a U.S. Army veteran, U.S. Army Reserve veteran, and retired coal miner from Consol Coal Company.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Joyce (Scovronski) Peltz; children: Jackie (Peltz) Nix, John (Bethany) Peltz and Jason Peltz; grandchildren: Justin Peltz, Kyle Nix, Amber Peltz, Jacob Peltz, Megan Peltz, Susie Peltz, Danny Peltz and Mikey Peltz; siblings: David (Mary Ann) Peltz and Mardell Sliva and many nieces and nephews.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents Lois (McCartney) Peltz and LeMoyne Peltz, infant daughter, wife Theresa (Calamita) Peltz and sister Ruth (Peltz) Horstman.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Jack and celebrate his life on Saturday, March 2nd from 3-7, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Adena, OH, and on Sunday from 12, noon, until the time of service of 1 pm., from the funeral home.

Full military services will be conducted at 12:45 by The Adena American Legion.
