Janet Lucille Meredith, 77, of Adena, Ohio, passed away on Sunday July 23, 2023. She was born June 16, 1946, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Violet Walworth Walter. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband David Meredith, brothers; Elvis and Chuck Walter, Sisters; Violet Kelley, Ella Richards and Sarah Meredith and granddaughter Ashley Moore.

Janet retired from Medi Home Health Agency in 2009.  She spent many hours quilting with her sisters and daughter Iris. She also enjoyed fishing in the many tournaments she entered with her companion Bill Glover.  She especially loved working in the yard, planting flowers and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Janet is survived by children: Iris (Randy) Cologie, Janet (George) Drake, Christine Moore, David (Tammi) Meredith, Julie (Doug) Dombroski, siblings: Ruth Moore, Lloyd (Kathy) Walter, Rose Telek, Mary (Harley) Carrothers and Alan Walter; ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Friends will be received Thursday July 27, 2023, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Borkoski Funeral Home, 555 East Market Street, Cadiz, Ohio where services will be held Friday July 28, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery, Harrisville, Ohio.
