Helen Louise Fiutem, 94, of Adena, Ohio, passed away Monday February 7, 2022, at Park Health.

She was born May 31, 1927, the daughter of the late Daniel and Helen Kobus Lapel.

Helen was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. She worked at Goodyear Aircraft in Akron, Ohio; Republic Steel and Old King Cole in Canton, Ohio; and General Telephone Company in Adena.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Albert Fiutem, sisters: Mary Pavlov and Ann Mears, brother in laws: Steve Pavlov and Thomas Mears.

Helen is survived by her niece Deborah Pavlov of Centerville, Ohio.

Friends will be received Thursday February 10, 2022, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Borkoski Funeral Home, 60 South Bridge Street, Adena, Ohio.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday February 11, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas A. Chillog as celebrant.  Interment will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery, Harrisville, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
