Doris E.(Klapka) Zalewski loving mother and grandmother passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 at the age of 85. Doris was a lifelong Cleveland Browns and Indians fan and also enjoyed Sunday morning polkas. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a past employee of the Geneva Public Library and also served as a Smithfield Twp. Clerk. Doris enjoyed making cabbage rolls and skinny pancakes for her family. Her hobbies included jigsaw, crossword puzzles and board games. Doris was preceded in death by her husband John and her parents Louis and Margaret, son-in-laws Rich and Anthony and granddaughter Karly. She is survived and will be greatly missed by her five children: Jim (Lynn) Zalewski, Cathy (Anthony) Bartrug, Lorraine (Dan) Stoll, Linda (Rich) Boruta, John Zalewski and nine loving grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren and brother Lou "Sonny" (Pat) Klapka. A private family service will be held at Borkoski Funeral Home, 60 South Bridge Street, Adena, OH on Tuesday, January 26th from 10 am - 12 pm. Friends are welcome to join the family at a funeral mass at St. Casimirs Catholic Church at 12:15 pm.
