Burl Wayne Matthews, 76, of Adena, OH, passed Sunday November 26, 2017 at East Ohio Regional Hospital.

He was born in Glen Dale, WV on June 26, 1941 a son of the late Lloyd and Sarah Mobley Matthews.  He was a self employed auto body technician.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Lloyd Matthews.

Burl is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Linda Burkey Matthews, a daughter Teresa (Sam) Zitterich of Adena, grandchildren: Noah, Isaac, Faith and Nicholas.

In keeping with Burl's wishes services and interment will be private at Limestone Cemetery.
