Barbara (Barb) Joyce Grabits, 73, of Bloomingdale, Ohio, passed Wednesday November 13, 2019, after a courageous seven year battle with cancer, at Gables Care Center, Hopedale, Ohio.

She was born December 31, 1945, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Black Bobish of Adena, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her many rescued and adopted cats and dogs whom she lovingly cared for over the past forty years.

She was a faithful member and Elder at the Covenant Presbyterian Church of Harrisville, Ohio, along with being a member of Church Session and its Women's Club.

Barb enjoyed crafting, visiting craft shows and flea markets and watching the Steelers.

Barb is survived by her loving husband of forty years, Stan Grabits, two sisters: Betty Senatore and Midge Bobish, her nephew Scott Senatore and great-nice Brittany Senatore, all of Monroeville, PA.  In addition, she leaves behind her precious cats, Blackie, Tuffy, Sassy and Smudge.

Friends will be received Monday 11 to 2 and 4 to 8 p.m. at Borkoski Funeral Home, 60 South Bridge Street, Adena, Ohio.  Visitation will continue on Tuesday November 19, 2019 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Harrisville, Ohio with Rev.
