Alice Irene Davidson, 87, of Harrisville, Ohio, passed Monday November 25, 2013 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, Ohio. She was born in Harrisville on May 9, 1926, a daughter of the late Walter and Sarah Manie Stillwagon Grimes. She was a former employee of Dickinson Florist , an Avon representative, member of Harrisville United Methodist Church, and a member of the Order of Eastern Star #510 St. Clairsville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Douglas Davidson in 1984; brothers: James, Harold, and Donald Grimes; sisters: Phyllis Smith, Tessie Price and her former husband Eugene "Gene" Davidson. Alice is survived by a son Thomas (Sarah) Davidson of Pataskala, Ohio, a daughter Iris I. (R.J.) Theiss of Jonesboro, GA., a sister Gloria Horstman of New Athens; grandchildren: Jason (Nikki) Davidson, Jeffrey (Misti) Carter, Robbie (Misty) Theiss, Jessica (Donald) Norris, Ryan (Emily) Davidson, Aaron Davidson; and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Friday 3-5 and 7-9p.m. at Borkoski Funeral Home, 555 East Market Street, Cadiz, Ohio where services will be held Saturday November 30, 2013 at 11:00a.m. with Rev.
