Marion Jean (Griffith) Higgins

 Marion Jean Griffith Snyder Higgins, 87, formerly of Glen Robbins, OH, and a resident of the Meadows of Cadiz, passed away quietly with loving family surrounding her. 

  She was born on February 5, 1932 in Waverly, WV, the daughter of the late Andy Griffith and Eva Parrish Griffith.

  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers: Harvey, Joey and Jim, and a sister Violet Griffith.  James W. Snyder Sr, Michael Higgins and her companion of 20 years John Hayman, all of Glen Robbins, two children: Cindy Snyder Hayman and Jack Snyder.

  Marion is survived by a son James W. (Bonnie) Snyder Jr., of South Carolina, Linda (Dean) Frye of Jewett, Ohio and Judy (Daniel) Grant of Connersville, OH; daughter in law Trudy Snyder of Moundsville, WV, 16 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 16 great great-grandchildren, her beloved cat Prettie.

  She was a homemaker that loved to cook and loved music, she worked for many years at the Glen Robbins Fire Dept. Social Club. She was a lifetime member of the VFW in Yorkville.  Her favorite time of year was Christmas to see all her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by her kindness and her beautiful smile and laugh.

 Friends will be received Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Tom Thomas officiating at Borkoski Funeral Home, 555 East Market Street, Cadiz, Interment will follow at Upland Cemetery, Yorkville, Ohio.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Limestone, WV Fire Department.
